Natural Cider
Estate-grown Reineta apples and a direct expression of the land.
Craft cider from Valleseco, Gran Canaria, made with Reineta apples, organic farming and artisan know-how at the foot of Pico de Osorio.
Origin
The estate lies on the road to Pico de Osorio, within Doramas Rural Park, around 900 metres above sea level. Here, a signature cider with a distinctly Canarian identity is made from estate-grown apples, with quality taking priority over scale.
The person
Ángel Tomás Domínguez Ponce
Ángel has spent decades caring for the estate, harvesting Reineta apples and refining a project that turned a family tradition into a benchmark for Canarian cider. The cider house is the result of that daily dedication: land, craft and time.
“It is not only about making cider. It is about caring for the estate, respecting the apple and defending a way of working with patience and honesty.”See his awards
Organic
Ángel registered as an organic farmer in 1993. His grandfather had already worked the land with a similar philosophy. The project continues that thread: estate-grown apples, respect for the land and a scale that puts quality first.
Reineta apples high acidity, grown on the estate.
More than 4,000 kg of apples for an approximate production of 2,000 litres per year.
Artisan production with double fermentation in its ciders.
Traditional-method sparkling ciders with a second fermentation in the bottle.
From tree to bottle
The apples are harvested at peak ripeness, selected and then begin the journey that shapes each cider. Everything starts with the estate harvest and direct control over the raw material.
The harvest follows the rhythm of the estate and the ripening of each apple.
